From microscopic strain to pure formulation
Wild-type Indian microalgae are selected for their naturally high DHA content. Cultivation takes place in controlled fermenters under optimised conditions — temperature, pH, carbon source — ensuring consistency and purity. This controlled environment eliminates the contamination risks associated with open-water sourcing.
AlgalR uses solvent-free and chemical-free extraction methods to isolate omega-3 oils from the algal biomass. This approach eliminates residual solvent contamination, preserves the natural composition of the omega-3, and ensures a clean-label compliant ingredient with no synthetic processing aids.
Extracted omega-3 is formulated into customised products — oils, powders, capsules, and biomass. Concentration ratios are tailored to client specifications from 10% to 60% purity. Microencapsulation and blending technologies extend shelf life and improve dispersibility in diverse food matrices.
Every batch undergoes rigorous quality testing including fatty acid profiling, heavy metal testing (all results BDL), oxidation markers (PV, AV), microbiological testing, and organoleptic assessment. Full COA documentation is provided with each batch.
